The challenges
The project was initially built by a different consulting company, which focused much more on functionalities from the admin perspective and less on the user's point of view.
ZenDev was tasked to perform SEO optimization initially. Still, since the technical SEO setup was very low, we needed to take over the project and optimize and improve the Greenfee365 website. Being satisfied with our proactive approach, Greenfee365 management decided to have ZenDev take over the whole development process that a former IT consultant initially did and work on tasks related to improving the platform, feature development, and integrating several different services.
The solution
Technical SEO setup
Technical SEO setup is the stage full of tasks related to SEO and the improvement of Greenfee365 websites. Pre-rendering and re-indexing the page for Google Search Engine was done, and the rest of the ongoing tasks are related to Custom DataLayer implementation, Pagespeed optimization, content creation, On-site and Off-site SEO work, etc. This is an ongoing stage, but so far it led to a 247% increase in blog page visitors and 214% in sessions.
Kawaii2Marshalls
Kawaii is a 3rd party service that provides invoicing features and commission calculations based on the booking information provided in Marshalls. The problem is that Kawaii was a deprecated system with little to no technical improvement since the creators of the system didn’t have any intention of developing this any further. Therefore, we needed to implement the missing features in the Marshalls and migrate the available data from Kawaii to the Marshalls. We needed to expand the current Marshalls infrastructure to add missing functionalities. We ensured additional features aligned with the current functionalities and pre-existing UI/UX.
Payment Solution Integration
Once we were confident that Marshalls had taken over functionalities of Kawaii we also needed to develop features that would allow us proper integration of payment solution services. The payment solution services we implemented allow us to create Virtual Credit Cards (VCC), schedule, cancel, load funds on VCCs, and perform payments. The goal is to have the ability for golf courses to automatically receive payments for the bookings when the bookings are confirmed and ready for payment.

Since the payment solution integration is completed, the next stage was split into 3 main workflows:
