About company

Hidroxa Medical is a unique Swedish company that sells iontophoresis machines to clinics and private individuals, combating the condition of excessive sweating known as hyperhidrosis. Despite the fact that 3-5 % of the world's population suffers from this condition, there is very limited treatment for it. 

The idea for Hidroxa Medical was born in 2015, and since its start in 2017 Hidroxa Medical is the only reseller of iontophoresis machines with a base in the Nordic region. Hidroxa put a lot of effort into raising awareness of hyperhidrosis and possible treatment methods. 

They want to spread knowledge to the general public as well as healthcare professionals, in order to drastically improve the life quality of individuals suffering from the condition.

The Challenges

Although they had the expertise, Hidroxa found themselves struggling in terms of technical solutions as a tool to reach their target group and the general public. Raising awareness and reaching business goals without a proper digital channel, especially in the post-covid market, is nearly impossible. 

In order to become truly competitive and expand not only on the Swedish market but also eventually into other markets, Hidroxa (the product of the same name) required a platform and an e-commerce solution where they could share their vision and their product. 

As a young company on the market, they had neither. Not to mention, they needed to find a partner with a deep understanding of the art of earning customers' trust, as one of the core goals of Hidroxa Medical is to spread awareness and help those that struggle in their everyday lives.

They want to spread knowledge to the general public as well as healthcare professionals, in order to drastically improve the life quality of individuals suffering from the condition. 

Magento 2 gave us a solid ground to build and carry out a successful ecommerce store, which resulted in significantly increased revenue and traffic!
